The next thing I want you to know is how to add text blocks. You’ve probably done this already, but we’ve updated this feature and added some new things as well. It’s easy to add headlines, but what if you wanted to add more than that. Well, you would click to add an element and find the option titled ‘Text Block’. Click on this, and you will find that a small text block section has been added to your page.
If you click on this new section, the settings for it will appear. Within these settings, you’ll find a button labeled ‘Open Text Editor’. If you click on this, it will open up a text editor window, which is shown above. You can type your text out within it, and you can even see it being added to the page in the background as well.
In the screenshot above, you can see that there are different options up at the top of this text block window. You can change bold the font or italicize it. You can make the fonts bigger and smaller. You can change the color of the letters. You can even highlight the text, which is really handy if you like to highlight different parts of your sales copy. There’s even a feature for you to make different headers. Plus, you can create html codes with this.
Before we had this custom text block, it was a nightmare. I would have to clone my headline and change the font each time. Now you can just put in a text block and click on it to start editing it. This allows you to create your text blocks, and format them the way that you want to, much more quickly and easily. In fact, you can make them look super-cool very, very fast.
the text block feature does not work very well if you text is white. It has white background. I cannot use it at all.
