Did you guys know about out ‘click optin’ feature? I want to make sure that you know how this works. The way that it basically works is down at the bottom of your dashboard there is a little link that says ‘ClickOptin’. This is shown in the screenshot above. If you click on this a window appears. This is a tricky tool, and when we used it for the first time, it tripled the number of people that registered for our webinar. If you think having three times the amount of people registering for your webinars would help you, then you definitely want to learn how to use this feature.
The first thing that you are going to do when you use this feature is select which email service provider your using to send out emails. This is going to generate a link that you’re going to place in the emails that you’re sending out to promote your webinar, or your optin page, or whatever it might be. The list of email service providers you are going to be selecting from includes
- Mailchimp
- Aweber
- GetResponse
- GetResponse360
- iContact
- Infusionsoft
- MadMimi
- OfficeAutopilot
- Ontraport
- PureLeverage/GVO
- Maropost
- Mandrill
- Custom
Let’s say that you chose AWeber. Once you do, a link will be generated below, and this is going to be your ClickOptin link. At the end of this link you’ll find the tag from Aweber. So, if you were to change this to Mailchimp, you’ll notice that the end of the link will change. You can embed this link in an email that you’re sending out to your list, and say something like “I’m doing a webinar this week. If you want to join in, click on this link and you will automatically be registered.” What happens is the link is going to automatically pull in that person’s email address, automatically opt them into step, and automatically move that person into step two.
When I have a new optin page, and I have a bunch of Aweber lists. So, let’s say that I want to promote this new sales funnel to my Aweber lists, but I don’t want them to have to opt in again. Well, I can just send out a link like this, and it will automatically opt them into the list at Aweber and then it takes them to the second step of the funnel to see my sales funnel, or whatever it might be.
The second way we use it is as affiliates. A lot of you know that we do a lot of Funnel Hacking webinars. What I will do is ask an affiliate what auto-responder they use, and I generate a link for them in accordance to what they use. Then, I tell them to make this the clickable link inside the emails that they are sending out, and if you do that, everyone that clicks on the link will instantly be registered for the webinar. You do need to tell them that they should specify in their copy that the person is going to be instantly registered if they click on the link. However, when a person clicks on the link, they don’t have to go through some kind of optin form or registration page. That’s why, when you do this, you get nearly a 100% optin rate.
Every person who uses this link is either opted into your order registration page or to your optin page. That is how ClickOptin works. I know that a lot of people haven’t been using this, but we’ve been using this behind the scenes, and it’s really gotten nearly three times as many people to register for our landing pages and our webinar pages.
Now, you might be asking how this work on Facebook, and it doesn’t work on Facebook. This has to be sent out through an email provider like GetResponse or Aweber. You know how you can set up an email to say “Dear [First Name]”, and it will plug in that person’s first name. That’s essentially what’s happening here, except in this case the person’s email address is being pulled in with this link. This won’t work with Facebook because they won’t give us an email tag that will pull someone’s email address. So, it only works with the email providers listed above.

This is golden.
Just about to start implementing it.
