Page Titles

Someone in our Facebook group recently mentioned that they keep seeing people with ClickFunnels pages, and the page title always says “This page is awesome”.  It’s pretty easy to edit your page titles, but it’s vital that you know how.  No matter what type of page you are on, you can do this by clicking on the ‘Settings’ tab and clicking ‘Meta Tags/Social Settings’.  Within these options, you’ll find a field for the ‘Page Title’.  By default this says “My Awesome Landing Page”.  You have probably seen this on your page titles before but just didn’t know how to change that.

You don’t want to have a thousand pages that say this.  So, every time you go to create or edit your pages, go into the settings.  Then, click on the ‘Meta Tags/Social Settings, and change the Page Title to whatever you might want it t say.  Next you’ll find the option to add a ‘Page Description’.  These descriptions and such will pull up in the search engines so it is important that you work with them.  The options that can be found under this section are shown above.

In your descriptions, you’re going want to include some keywords so that your pages are better search engine optimized.  You’ll also want to put in your name as the page author.  After that, you’ll be able to save, and when you preview it, it should have your new title.  Also, you can right click and click to ‘View Page Source’, you will see that all of your keywords are included there as well as your author tags.  This is all the sorts of things that SEO nerds like to have.  Regardless of whether you are or not, you need this.  So, make sure that you do this whenever you create your pages and update your existing ones this way.
