Meet Dante Torelli: ClickFunnels Radio’s New Co-Host and His Journey From Realtor to ClickFunnels Coach

Why We’re Introducing Dante

ClickFunnels Radio just hit episode 800, which is wild when you think about it. Dave Woodward did 670-something episodes before Chris Cameron took over. Then came Laura Demetrius, Ben Harris, Tyler Wix. And now we’re doing another changing of the guard.

If you’ve been around ClickFunnels for the past few years, you’ve probably already seen Dante Torelli. He’s been on stage at Funnel Hacking Live, he went to Japan with Russell and Todd to launch the software there, and he’s been coaching inside the One Funnel Away Challenge.

But most people don’t know his full story. How he found ClickFunnels, why he left a profitable career to take a pay cut working tech support, or how he helped push the One Comma Club Award into existence.

So instead of jumping straight into interviews with other people, Chris spent episode 800 interviewing Dante. And it’s one of the most honest conversations about what it takes to turn an idea into income.

The 1:30 AM Click That Started His ClickFunnels Career

Eight years ago, Dante was a college dropout working as a realtor. He left school because he didn’t know what he wanted to do, which is a theme you hear a lot in the ClickFunnels community. College didn’t make sense, so he left and got his real estate license.

Problem was, he had no idea how business worked. He didn’t know what a dream customer was. He didn’t understand marketing or lead generation. He just knew he needed clients to sell homes to.

It’s 1:30 AM on a random Tuesday, and Dante sees an ad from Russell Brunson talking about filling your business with leads. He clicks it, and that one decision sent him down a completely different path.

He joined one of Russell’s events and started hearing terms he’d never heard before: dream customer, know thy customer, value ladder, and the idea that if you try to speak to everyone, you speak to no one.

Dante realized he had three main customer types as a realtor: buyers, sellers, and renters. But he’d been treating them all the same, which meant his marketing was speaking to no one.

So he built his first funnel and launched it to 1,000 people.

Nobody opted in. Not one person!

But here’s where most people quit. They launch something, it flops, and they decide funnels don’t work or they’re not cut out for it. Dante just kept tweaking. He’d look at the funnel, figure out what didn’t work, and try again.

Russell had told him not to live in limiting beliefs, so he didn’t. Pretty quickly, the funnel started working, and he started getting leads and selling homes from those leads.

And then he had a realization that a lot of entrepreneurs hit at some point.

He didn’t want to do real estate anymore.

From Real Estate Agent to ClickFunnels Employee

Dante could see the path ahead of him. In five years, he’d be a broker and he’d have agents working under him.

But he hated it. He didn’t care about square footage or contracts or any of it.

Around the same time, he had a chance to work for ClickFunnels. And here’s where people assume it was an easy decision because it’s a big company with a cool opportunity.

Except it wasn’t. Dante didn’t get hired as a coach or even as a marketer. He got hired as a tech support agent.

Now it’s important to note that Dante was a guy who was “technically incompetent.” He would download a lead magnet off the internet and have to call his brother to ask where the file was on his computer. That’s the level we’re talking about.

So why’d he do it?

He met Todd and Russell in person, and they were exactly the same as they were on video. That might sound like a small thing, but Dante had met other people in real life who were completely different from their online presence. With Todd and Russell, what you saw was what you got.

He believed in what they were building and that they were good people doing good work. And that was worth more than a bigger paycheck.

The first year at ClickFunnels was the hardest thing Dante had ever done. But it was also the easiest, because he was excited to wake up every day.

What Dante Learned About Limiting Beliefs

Before ClickFunnels, Dante didn’t even know what a limiting belief was. Nobody had ever talked to him about it, so he just operated with all these mental blocks he didn’t even realize were there. He was the billboard for limiting beliefs, as he puts it.

But once he started learning how to think differently, how to prompt his brain differently, he got addicted to smashing them. When you realize you’ve been living with these invisible walls that you built yourself, and then you knock one down, you start seeing opportunities you couldn’t see before.

That’s what he brings to coaching now.

How Dante Coaches Entrepreneurs Today

Dante coaches inside the One Funnel Away Challenge, and he works with everyone from complete beginners who have an idea but no clue how to monetize it, to existing business owners doing six or seven figures who just want to add funnels to the front end.

His favorite example of this? The foot fungus guy.

Yeah, you read that right. This guy came in with a self-cure course for foot fungus. Dante’s sitting there, 26 years old, thinking this has to be the weirdest business idea he’s ever heard. How many people really need this? And the methods the guy was sharing sounded, well, unconventional.

But they worked through dream customer, the problems people were experiencing, and the transformation the course would deliver, then packaged it all into an offer. Module one was free as a lead magnet (what to stop eating today if you have foot fungus). Then people could buy the full course for $47, with an upsell to group coaching at $97, and a done-for-you service where the guy would personally consult on diet and lifestyle.

Just a basic funnel structure (lead magnet to course to done-with-you to done-for-you), and it crushed.

That’s when Dante realized he’d never judge someone’s business idea again. If there’s a customer with a problem, and you have a solution, a business can exist. The riches are in the niches.

But here’s what separates the foot fungus guy from people who never find success in business: he was a doer, not just a learner.

He’s met so many people who are addicted to learning. They’re always consuming, enrolled in courses, and researching. But they never launch. They’re stuck in what Dante calls “the indecision prison.”

Russell and Todd are serial doers. They fire, then ready, then aim. They get something out there, see if it works, and iterate fast. Every Two Comma Club winner does the same thing.

The One Funnel Away Challenge

The One Funnel Away Challenge has two tracks. There’s an expert track for people selling digital products, coaching, courses, or services. And there’s an ecom track with Trey Llewellyn (who has his own wild story about turning flashlights into a hundred-million-dollar brand by making one tiny tweak after calling a customer).

If you’re a first-timer with no product and no offer, Dante helps you figure out what to create. If you’re an existing business owner, he helps you look at your data and package what you already have into a funnel.

He had one person come in with an existing business, already running ads and making sales. They looked at the numbers together, tweaked the offer slightly, and tripled the ad spend.

That person made more money in two weeks than they’d made in an entire year working for someone else.

That’s the thing Dante sees over and over. Most people are sitting on something that already works. They just don’t know how to read the data or they’re scared to scale it. That’s where coaching comes in: helping them see what’s already working and giving them the confidence to pour gas on it.

The One Comma Club Award (And Why Your First $1,000 Matters Most)

For years, ClickFunnels only had the Two Comma Club Award. You hit a million dollars in a funnel, you get the award. People put them in their offices, they make ads with them, they use them as social proof.

But Dante kept thinking about his first comma. The first $1,000 he made from a lead he acquired through a funnel. That was harder than anything that came after it.

Warren Buffett says the first thousand dollars is the hardest to make. The first time you do the thing, it’s the most difficult. And Dante felt like that should be celebrated.

He pushed for the One Comma Club Award for three or four years. Eventually, it got designed, approved, and launched. If you make your first $1,000 through a funnel, you get an actual award you can put on your desk.

Then Russell took it a step further and turned it into the One Comma Club Challenge. And here’s where it gets interesting for people who don’t have a product yet.

The Funnel Builder Certification Game-Changer

The One Comma Club Challenge includes the Funnel Builder Certification. You learn how to build funnels, you get coached by people like Dante, and you get a lifetime ClickFunnels agency account with 50 workspaces.

If you don’t have your own product, you can build funnels for other people. Doctors, dentists, electricians, local businesses. They need customers and leads, but they don’t want to be marketers or button pushers.

You build one funnel for one business. Then you go to all the businesses like that one and do the same thing. Rinse and repeat.

Most of these businesses are starving for this. They have the skill (they’re great at fixing teeth or wiring houses or whatever), but they have no idea how to market themselves.

Where AI and Funnels are Headed

Chris asked Dante where he thinks the puck is going with AI, and Dante’s answer was simple.

It’s the same question as “Should I have a website?” 20 years ago. Looking back now, obviously yes. But at the time, people were debating it.

We’re in that moment with AI right now. Elon Musk is launching rockets to put data centers in space. ClickFunnels has an AI Funnel Builder inside the software. You tell it your customer, your product, and it tells you exactly what funnel you need.

Then it builds it for you and you just go in and tweak.

Dante wishes this existed when he started because it would have made his learning curve so much shorter. He wouldn’t have had to figure out whether he needed a lead funnel or a sales page first or an order form or what. The AI handles all of that.

It’s also writing copy now, good copy that converts. Sales letters used to cost $15,000 to $25,000 each. Russell used to pay that every time he wanted to test a new market.

But now, the AI writes it, you launch it, see if it works, and iterate. You get to be the CEO, testing different industries until you find the thing you want to do, then go all in on it.

Dante’s Advice if You’re Stuck in the “Learning Loop”

Dante sees this all the time in the One Funnel Away Challenge. People show up to week one with questions. Week two, their questions have changed, but their funnel hasn’t. Week three, same thing. By the end of the challenge, they still haven’t launched.

His advice? Fire, ready, aim. Not the other way around. You have the structure, examples, and templates. Just launch it and see what happens. And then hypothesize, test, pivot.

If you launch and it flops, you’re not starting over, you’re just tweaking. Dante launched his first real estate funnel to 1,000 people and got zero opt-ins. He didn’t quit, he just kept adjusting until it worked.

What’s Next for ClickFunnels Radio

Chris and Dante are both clear about what they want the podcast to be: stories from people who are doing the thing, not just interviews or tips and strategies.

Dave Woodward built something special with this show. Chris learned from him, Dante learned from him, and now they’re taking it forward together.

Dante’s favorite thing about the podcast is how it converts casual followers into raving fans. He didn’t promote anything in his first few years at ClickFunnels, but people would binge the podcast, hear the stories, and apply to work with him before they even finished all the episodes.

That’s the power of showing up consistently. People binge the stories, see themselves in them, and decide to take action.

So if you’ve been stuck in the learning loop, waiting for the right time, and scared to launch because you’re not ready yet, here’s what Dante would tell you.

You’re never going to be ready. You just need to start anyway.
