7 Powerful Action Funnels While Using Actionetics

Have you worked with Actionetics before?

If you haven’t, then read on to discover how powerful this tool is. What’s more is that because it’s already a part of ClickFunnels, you don’t have to worry about signing up to other email marketing tools and worry about how to successfully integrate it into your funnels.

Actionetics isn’t only for creating and automating emails, but it is also a powerful tool that lets you set your action funnel steps to be automatically filtered based on your contacts’ actions. Through Action Funnels, you can create custom groups and set them as triggers in order for an action to be done.

There are 7 custom groups in the Action Funnels:

  • Social
  • Contact
  • Funnel
  • Product
  • Broadcasts
  • Lists
  • Email Step

Each of these custom groups can be set as triggers for internal or external actions on your email list.

Custom Groups

1. Filter by Social

Set your custom group according to a specific number of following or followers of any social network.

This custom group is useful when you want to filter your action funnels for email lists fitting the criteria of your choice in social.

Available social media network selections are:

  • About.me
  • Angellist
  • Blogger
  • Delicious
  • Digg
  • Facebook
  • Flickr
  • Foursquare
  • Friendfeed
  • Github
  • Google Plus
  • Gravatar
  • Instagram
  • Klout

  • YouTube

2. Filter by Contact

This custom group is especially useful when you want to filter your action steps according to country, zip code or state.

3. Filter by Funnel

Use this custom group when you want to filter your step according to page visited or not visited.

It’s especially useful when you want to reconnect with your email group who exited before opting in.

4. Filter by Product

Set your custom group to products bought or not bought.

It’s especially useful when you want to connect with those who bought or did not buy a product to inform them of new offers.

5. Filter by Broadcasts

This custom group is useful when you want to filter your step according to your email list who opened, did not open, click or never clicked a broadcast.

You can use this when you want to send a message and engage those who opened or clicked your emails.

6. Filter by Lists

Use this custom group to filter your action step to send your message according to whether the contact belongs or does not belong to a list.

If you haven’t sorted out your email lists yet, you can do so by manually adding a new list or import existing contacts to the Email Lists page under Actionetics.

7. Filter by Email Step

Use this custom group to trigger sending messages by filtering whether an email step on an action funnel was opened, not opened, clicked or not clicked.

This is useful when you want to reconnect with those whom you send your messages through an Action Funnel.

  1. Hi Steven, useful tips, thanks. I don’t see any “never opened” or “never clicked” options in the broadcast or email list rules??

  2. This option is NOT available according to clickfunnels support.

But in all the tutorials this option is shown.
And it would be the main reason of buying actionetics.

The quick tip from support id to do everything manual. Split your list , import contact who did open to new list and remove from old list. Then creating another action funnel for the people that still are on the main list. (They didn’t open therefore they weren’t removed from the list. ). Hook this list up to a new actionfunnel and start creating the emails that you wanted to send in this new funnel.

This solution kinda takes this potentially great tool and destroys it untill its just a stupid minimal effort autoresponder.

I hope that this feature gets enabled again very soon.
