May Not Be as Good as Specialized Apps in Specific Use Cases
All-in-one platforms tend to be decent at a lot of things while specialized apps tend to be really good at just one thing.
ClickFunnels is no exception here and it would be delusional of us to pretend otherwise. Our funnel builder is amazing but most other functionalities are just good enough.
What this means is that specialized apps would likely outperform our software when it comes to their specific use cases.
After all, an all-in-one platform cannot compete with specialized apps that are built with just one use case in mind when it comes to that use case.
For example, you can use our email marketing functionality for your e-commerce business. But it can’t compete with specialized email marketing apps designed for that.
Of course, there’s no free lunch, everything is about trade-offs. Here’s what you need to ask yourself when it comes to the all-in-one platform vs. specialized software issue:
- What features do you actually need?
- Are you willing to pay for specialized software in order to get those features?
